Past due bill

Your payment history with Koodo is reported to credit bureaus, so it’s important to pay your bill in full every month to avoid a negative impact to your credit score.  If it’s easier for you, set up pre-authorized payments so that you can avoid the hassle of any collection activity on your account.

To view your payment history, first log in to Self Serve. From the Self Serve dropdown menu, select Billing, then select Account history.

Note: If you’ve paid a bill but it’s still with a collections agency, please contact us.

Pay your past due balance in full or make a payment arrangement

If your bill is past due, you need to bring your account up to date by paying your past due balance in full the same way you would normally pay your current bill, so that you can avoid potential disruption to your service and a $50 reconnection fee to have your services restored.

If you need help paying your bill, you may be able to set up a payment arrangement. A payment arrangement is an agreed payment plan for paying your past due balance on a specified date.  The amount you commit to pay must be posted to your account by the agreed-upon date. If you don't pay on the date you've agreed to, your service will be suspended immediately and a reconnection fee will apply.

To make a payment arrangement, please schedule a callback through Koodo Assist, and a rep will be happy to help you set up a payment plan.

Making payments with a payment arrangement

To make sure your payments are received on time, pay quickly and easily with Self Serve. The payment immediately reflects on your account this way.  If you’re making your payment through your financial institution’s online or telephone banking, please ensure you allow 3-5 business days for your payment to get to Koodo. In order to report a payment, an account must be delinquent.

Restoring your service with payment arrangement

If your service has been suspended for non-payment, a payment arrangement will restore your services.  Your services will not experience any disruption as long as your payments are received by Koodo by the agreed-upon dates.

Payment arrangement and late payment charges

A payment arrangement will not prevent late payment charges. You can avoid late payment charges by paying your bill in full every month.
